POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Program Director, the Outpatient Coordinator is responsible for the clinical, administrative and budgetary operations of the Adolescent Outpatient Substance Abuse programs. This position oversees the providing of all outpatient services including outreach, screening assessment, habilitative and rehabilitative services, recovery and treatment planning, educational sessions, and vocational planning. The position also maintains responsibility for upholding all relevant regulations established by the State, County or Federal Government.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent in this position has supervise MFT/MSW trainees and SUD counselors
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
· Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
· LMFT or LCSW with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Registration preferred
· Must maintain licensure as a condition of employment.
· Two (2) years post licensure highly preferred
· Experience in Substance Abuse or Mental Health preferred
· Experience with SAPC, DMH, Community Care Licensing, and other governing bodies preferred
· Evidenced-Based Trained/Certified in TF-CBT, SS Preferred
· Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy

· Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with patients

· Understanding of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities
· Understanding of adult/adolescent development and family systems
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Ability to be flexible; problem solver, self-directed; customer service-oriented, and collaborative
· Skills and ability to engage and develop a rapport with patients and families of various backgrounds
· Bilingual in Spanish preferred
